Clarissa Willis is currently an author, consultant and professional development specialist living in North Carolina. She has presented workshops, keynote addresses, and teacher trainings nationally and internationally. Formerly, the Associate Director of the Center of Excellence in Early Childhood Learning and Development at East Tennessee State University, she directed such projects as Tennessee's Early Intervention System Technical Assistance Project, The East Tennessee Autism Training Project, The Tennessee Preschool Literacy Project, and Expanding Horizons Early Intervention Project. |

| Her publications include the award winning books, Teaching Young Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, My Child has Autism, and Teaching Infants Toddlers and Twos with Special Needs (Gryphon House). She is co-author with Dr. Pam Schiller of Inclusive Literacy Lessons. In addition she also the author of Inclusive Environments for Young Children-What to do on Monday Morning! (Corwin Press). Clarissa worked over thirty years in public schools, child development centers, and as a speech pathologist. While earning her PhD. at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg she provided home-based early intervention for children with developmental delays and their families. She believes in the process of educating all children through exploration and discovery. Dr, Willis can design a workshop, keynote or training based on the needs of your group or organization.
